“Do you treat this moment as if it were an obstacle to be overcome? Do you feel you have a future moment to get to that is more important?”
Eckhart Tolle
Yes I do!
I don’t mean to, but I do.
It’s like a curse was cast on me at birth, and that curse won’t break till death.
Or so I believed…
Mr Tolle has thought me a very important lesson this week.
A lesson about the importance of being present. Not just being present physically, but being present mentally too (and not away in the future where everything seems perfect).
(: I have learnt that this moment can also be perfect :)
I have been thought the importance of living this moment…and not that moment!
I think that in living this moment I can live as myself…but by living that moment I’m living as someone I perceive myself to be, usually someone perfect, someone I’m not!
Afterall, this moment was once that moment, and if it wasn’t, then it soon will be!
The moral of the story…open your eyes to the beauty that life has to offer…in this moment. Oh, and read Eckhart Tolle!
